MIFF Schools Microsite
MIFF Schools is an initiative by the Melbourne International Film Festival to enrich the cinema experience for younger viewers. This year the films were carefully programmed so that they are not only high quality, diverse and age appropriate, but also in languages commonly taught in Victorian schools.
The schools site (developed by the team at MeccaMedialight) features a simple booking system for
MyPlace Competition!
Pitch your script ideas for MyPlace! We've helped the fabulous team at ACTF create a entry form for the 2018 My Place Competition, a national short story contest for students. To enter, Year 3-6 primary students from across Australia are encouraged to submit a short, imaginative writing piece on a fictional character whom they believe could live in the My Place house in 2018.
Education and Training
Mecca Medialight's has developed a number of educational simulations and games. These projects, such as "The Planning Game" (published by RMIT), "Apollonia" (Melbourne University), "The Virtual Direct Marketer" (Australia Post), and "After the Fact" (National Institute of Forensic Science) - as well as numerous corporate training programmes - create non-linear, immersive environments for learners
